We are a group of grandparents and extended family members who are the main carers of children. Our members work hard at creating help, support and encouragement for all those in similar situations throughout the North.

Kinship care enables children to live with people they know and trust It enables children to continue family relationships It creates a family identity for the children It focuses on the strength of the family not the deficits It lessens the trauma of family separation

Our informal meetings involve sharing our experiences, organising speakers on specific topics, and discussing way to influence local services and politicians all over tea and coffee. |
